#2022memories
Hi again!
I guess it is the first and the last entry this year hahaha. 2022 went pretty well, with unexpectedly three holiday trips woohoo -- making up for the grounded at home for two years due to mobility restrictions ygy. I came back to work at the office this year. It was very hard to let go the privilege of WFH, but I still need this job and the money it generates lol.
So yeaa... to sum up, for me, 2022 was superb in the beginning and the middle, but it turned bleak for known/unknown reasons towards the end of the year.
Without further ado, let's recap 2022!
January
In the high spirit of exploring new places by bike! Hahaha. Starting the year riding to FIB, FamilyMart Pejaten, and Bukit Pelangi. Rainbow Hill aka Bukit Pelangi was my first ride to a high altitude and contoured destination. I paused a lot to catch my breath haha.
The next day, I met up with Ragluv gang! At that time, Parete was already pregnant hahaha but she chose to not announce it right away to the other members. We had lunch at Haka Dimsum, Kemang, and had some snacks at Locarasa.
Highlight of January 2022 was... THE FIRST TRIP AFTER PANDEMIC!!! HAHAHA. So it was started end of December, when Ocha told me that she would have a trip to Jogja with her friends. I asked her if I could join -- only for the accommodation and the beach trip, other than that I will have my own. She and her friends said ok, so there I was haha. Since I can WFA, I had a few days working there.
The trip was fun since it was the first time I'm going out far after three years. However, I also found that working between holiday made my trip not as enjoyable as if I have a full holiday. So, from that moment on, I do not put works in between a holiday.
Oh, and it was also the first time for me to have a LITERALLY solo trip to LITERAL Solo wkwk. I love pun. Solo was great as it already has a quite reliable BRT system and the food was great too. I planned to have another WFA session there (now it is intentional WFA).
February
COVID is back! Now it's time for Omicron to shine✨ But thankfully, none of us caught that.
I was still in the hype of Indonesia's Next Top Model Cycle 2 hahaha and my one pick is Faradina!!
I think February was the last time I baked brownies lol.
In February, my weight stepped to the left to... 55 kg! From 60 kg last year 😂
If I'm not mistaken, I had plenty of overtime this month. Eugh.
I also cycled to Gunung Pancar, Sentul. The road was nice and enjoyable in the first 80% of the trip. It turned into a hell for my body in the last 20%. Started with a very steep road, which does not stop shortly. But the struggle was worth the view.
March
Putri was getting married in early March, so she brought Nyenya and Kopid here. Obviously, Sierra did not like them hahaha, so she hissed whenever she met them. Nyonyong and Copid slept in my room, and they got noisy early in the morning, asking for food erghh.
The wedding itself went well. Finally one of the three siblings got married. I, as the eldest child who has not yet married, could not help to feel relieved lol. I also wish a smooth marriage for Putri and Arnol.
In March, it was also the first time for me to cycle to Jakarta! HAHAHA a crazy idea but I managed to make it real. I cycled to Patung Pancoran via Citayam, Depok, and Pasar Minggu. It was a 69.7 km ride.
Second WFH anniversay HAHAHA.
Most of weekends, I cycled to Bogor, the usual route to Tuku Yasmin and more, e.g., Dramaga and its surroundings.
I also had my COVID-19 booster shot this month in Tebet. Contrary to vaccines in RSUI which took half day, it only took 5 minutes from registration to the shot 😭 the process was very swift.
Again, cycling to Jakarta via Jalan Raya Bogor, recording a 76.8 km ride.
Sarah Tumiwa won INTM Cycle 2. Faradina made it to comeback and she finished at 3.
April
Starting April by taking my JLPT certificate 💖 after that I had a celebratory lunch at Carls Jr Buaran and I went to AEON JGC Cakung to continue working at The People's Cafe. I was enjoying the mall after work when it suddenly rained around 8 pm, while the mall -- due to the prevailing PPKM -- closed at 8. daym, I tried to order online ojek, but it was very hard to get one. Finally, I walked like A KILOMETER to secure an online taxi. And the taxi stucked in the traffic jam. It was almost 10 wkwk while the last train to Manggarai arrived at around 10.20. When I told that, the driver became Dominic Toretto 😂 and I managed to catch the last train and arrived in Bojong minutes to midnight. Insane.
Ramadhan started this month. This Ramadhan, due to Papa's worsening diabetes, we cut down carbohydrate and sugar for breakfasting, and had fruits instead. Usually, we had bakwan sambel kacang ALMOST EVERY DAY PLUS kolak, or any other sweet dishes. No wonder we gained weight during Ramadhan instead of losing weight lol. With the new diet, plus workout before breakfasting (paused a bit for internal cry), I lost my weight to 52 kg! and it has been 52 kg since then, until now (as of early January 2023). I am forever grateful for myself who pulled these efforts. Like, I can't believe I ever weighted 60 kg lol.
I am also thankful that I can spent this Ramadhan fully at home with my family, even praying tarawih in the masjid, although still with masks on. Regardless, this Ramadhan was full of pressure as I had to juggle between work, ibadah, OT, and freelance. Hence, I had a kind-of-breakdown wkwk. Hhhhh.
21 April 2022 Heri passed away 😢😭
End of April to early May, three days in a row making Lebaran cookies. #nowplaying Nicki Minaj - Roman Holiday.
May
Another Idul Fitri without pulang kampung. We went to Tangerang to visit Bude Yuli and we did not take the toll (lol I love pun) as judging from the traffic in Google Maps, there were heavy traffic points, hence lagging our trip. However, the regular road was also filled with cars and motorcycles. Hhhh it took 2 hours to Tanjung Barat wtf. It got better upon entering the toll.
The very next day, I cycled to Jakarta -- again hahahaha. I was on fire to burn all the fats from lebaran dishes 😂 but it was not a regular trip, I paid a visit to Bule Enci's home and met the family. They even gave me the legendary tape uli HAHAHA the main reason of visiting them LOLOLOLOL. After that, I visited Mbah's graveyard. Unfortunately we could not visit it together, so I represented the Bojong family.
Then I pushed the pedal to Kramat Jati, Cililitan, then turn left to Gatsu, then took another left to Sudirman. SUDIRMAN!!!!! The farthest I've ever been! 😆 I proceeded to Bundaran HI and I had mixed feelings upon seeing the Bundaran HI monument: disbelief that I reached my workplace by bike and pride. I stopped in front of The Plaza sign and took a commemorative photo hahaha. I then cycled further to Gondangdia and had lunch at KFC Tugu Tani, which I had been craving during Ramadhan lol. After refueling, I went back home through Cikini, Pasar Rumput, Manggarai, and Tebet. In Tebet, I decided to visit Tebet Eco Park, which just opened for public. It was an enormous park. I did not know that I could not ride my bike there wkwk so I just rode it 😂 when I was about to exit the park, I got warned that I could not ride my bike hahaha. After that, I rode straight home via Pasar Minggu, Lenteng Agung, Depok, Citayam. In Citayam, I GOT STUCK near the railway level crossing for around half an hour 😭 people were going back from visiting families and relatives. I got stuck from the sun was still on until it got dark hahaha. Moreover, I wore my shades and did not bring my clear glasses 😊 it was kinda scary to ride in the dark with shades. Thank God I got home around 7 pm. I went out riding my bike for 12 hours and it was a 94.7 km ride. My longest ride ever as of now. I needed a mere 6 km to my first Gran Fondo -- 100 km ride -- but I was too tired and my butts felt numb lol.
The next day, I was back to work. Thankfully it was WFH.
I watched Dr. Strange (ft. Black Widow 🙄) at CGV Vivo Sentul and after I finished watching, the mall was already dark wkwk it was like taking Uka-Uka challenge wkwk.
OMG while looking back at my IG Story this month, I was very ambitious 😂
Because a few days after, I rode my bike to... Cianten Tea Plantation, located around 50 km from home. I took it easy because I can conquer 50 km one-way days prior 😏 things I did not consider were altitude and topography. It is in Bogor and tea plantation is absolutely located in high lands right? I ended up in Pamijahan, around 15 km from Cianten. I looked for attractions nearby on Google Maps and I decided to visit Curug Cikuluwung. Turned out the waterfall was pretty. However, as it was still in Idul Fitri holiday, it was crowded with visitors. I did not regret my inability to reach Cianten as I could explore the waterfall.
I went to Senen to thrift with Putri. But now Senen is not as exciting as before since the price are no longer Senen-like :(
Got addicted to Laleilmanino - Rapsodi.
First kondangan in the year: Ara's wedding. After that, Fia and I had a coffee to talk about our upcoming trip to Sumatra.
June
Starting June by cycling to Hambalang. I stopped a lot as my thighs were crying HAHAHA. Buuuttt, the final destination, Warung Susu Jahe H. Sule, was worth the crying thighs and it served delicious warm ginger milk and fritters.
Kak Ghea - translators' manager back then - invited her coachees for lunch. It was the first time seeing the other translators again face to face after 2.5 years. After the lunch, I went back to the office to continue my work. Whoa things changed and unchanged.
Early June, I attended Europe on Screen pre-event. I AM BACK WATCHING EUROPE ON SCREEN LIVE 😭😭
Mid-June, I had a haircut after 2.5 years hahaha. It was very refreshing.
Also in mid-June, I spent my weekend watching Europe on Screen. Felt so good to have the EoS routine I had left during the pandemic. In total, I watched 11 movies.
End of June, I had a painful heartbreak 😍 it made me baking garlic bread early in the morning before work. I amazed myself.
In Idul Adha holiday, I cycled to UI, had a brunch at McD Kelapa Dua, and went back via Jalan Raya Bogor.
Oh, the most memorable in July was that I unexpectedly met up with many friends. Even worked together with Riffal si paling sibuk wkwk. Bebici had a picnic in UI hahaha.
August
The month 😉 it started with Disconnect Day, a Deloitte Indonesia program where it compensates the public holiday falls in weekend to the next Monday. August 1 was Monday, so I went to AEON Sentul. For the first time, I tried waxing hahahahaha. It was not as painful as I thought. Then I had a bit of sushi and headed to Sentul Atas to Highlander Cafe. What a peaceful and fun Monday to start my favorite month of the year.
August 3 was Sierra's second birthday! As usual, she had Fancy Feast pâté birthday cake.
August 5 I had medical check-up for the first time at RSUI. I took the basic package and the process was okay and I ran through many tests. The hardest part was taking feces sample lol as I had to force it 😂😂 after MCU, I met Gayatri who was about to go to Nagasaki for her master's study! In the middle of her shift, we met and I wished her luck for her study. Then I walked to Margo City to meet Lula and Gita to work together. It was Friday and the last day before I had my two-weeks-long annual leave, so I was in a rush to finish my work that day. It was not finished in Margo, so I pulled all nighter to finish it at around 2:30 am 😬
August 6, or hours after, I got ready for Southern Sumatra trip with Fia! We chose the slow travel way haha. We took Commuter Line to Rangkasbitung, unfortunately missed the local train so we had to wait for two hours and we walked around the station, took the local train to Merak, and boarded a ferry to cross Sunda Strait. It was fun up to that point. It turned into unknown area once we arrived at Merak.
It was already dark and the only available transportation to Metro was travel. But the 'travel' here is way different to ones in Jakarta - Bandung. It was an ordinary Avanza car, and the system was brutal. To sum up, we're ripped off due to our lack of information. I started the trip from Bojong Gede at 6.30 am and we arrived in Metro around 12 pm lololol. We were very tired and slept soundly at Fia's cousin's house.
In Lampung, Fia's cousin lent us a motorcycle, 2008 Beat, and we were okay with it.
August 8, my 28th birthday, we went to Gigi Hiu Beach, early in the morning as it was far away from our inn in Pesawaran. Everything went well until we climbed a steep road, suddenly, the motorcycle could not be started. Damn. Only a few people passed by, and a man helped to start the motorcycle but to no avail. He suggested to rode downhill to a nearby village, where a small workshop located. We believed him and thankfully the workshop was open. Turned out the oil had been dried up 😀 after refilling the oil, we continued our trip.
Another challenge was in front of us: it was basically offroad, with recently-broken matic motorcycle 🙂
Suddenly, from behind, a man appeared with his King RX motorcycle and offerred help. We were suspicious at first and refused his offer. But looking at the condition of our poor motorcycle, we finally accepted his help. Fia rode with the man and I rode the Beat. It was all fine and I started to master the terrain. I realised that the fuel was almost ran out, so I pulled aside to a nearby mini gas station. When I was about to take the key to open the gas tank, THE KEY WAS GONE!!! What the heck... Fia and the man traced back with the motorcycle, while I walked on foot to search for a small motorcycle key among the wilderness 🙂😭⚡⚡⚡ when I was looking, local people asked me, I answered and asked for their help if they could find a Honda motorcycle key. A group of children also asked me the same and one of them sticked out something to me, and IT WAS THE KEY!!! THANK GOD!!!! To thank them, I asked them if they wanted any snacks from the nearby warung. They only bought ice cream :") one for each :") I told the story to the warung owner, and she attached a plastic rope to the key to avoid the same incident. There was no signal there, and the warung owner told me that if people need phone signal, they have to go to the main road -- 5 km from there! 🥲🥲 After filling up the gas, I was about to rode back to Fia. Honestly I was worried as she was alone with a stranger in the middle of nowhere without signal and few people passing by. Thank God they went back quickly.
We sighed. WE HAD NOT REACHED OUR DESTINATION YET BUT WHY THESE EVENTS 😂😂😂😂😂 We continued our trip and after ~30 minutes, we finally arrived at the gate of Gigi Hiu Beach. I thought we would park the motorcycle there, but NO, the man took us further to the front of the beach WHICH passed through a steep, narrow, and slippery unpaved lane. 😭😭 I was afraid to fall down into the cliff due to the road being slippery 😭 but thank God I could pass it 😭 I asked for strength to pass it hahaha. FINALLY WE ARRIVED AT GIGI HIU BEACH AT 11:30 AM!!!!
The man -- whom just introduced himself, Roli, a guide -- took us to climb the sharp rocks. Whoa, but we were really thankful for him for that. Otherwise, we may could not enjoy the beach to the fullest.
After taking photos, Fia and I just sat on the top of the rocks. I thanked God for the blessings and opportunity that we can manage to reach it, despite all the challenges. I also contemplated if the journey reflected my life for the upcoming year 😂
The beach was simply breathtaking. That's all I can say.
After we prayed Zuhur, we went back and I found a way to save up the fuel: pull the gas steadily, do not have to pull it ambitiously as it would run the gas quicker. I realised it was the way of life of a mediocre. 😂
We made it safely to the main road we we rode back to the inn. I was the one riding the motorcycle and when we were near the inn, I made a sharp left turn, BUT the road along the inn was just paved by the owner, hence it was filled with gravel and wet cement. We fell down from the motorcycle, just meters from the inn 🥲 thankfully no one got hurt badly, only a few scratch and my right middle finger could not be bent as it is painful. The pain was gone just recently by the end of the year.
WHOA WHAT A LONG STORY, but it was the most memorable moment in the trip haha.
After that, we went to Southern Sumatra, but it was not really memorable as we were, again, ripped off by the locals 🙄 they charged us with illegal tickets. Duh. I hate that. Nevertheless, we had a chance to see a fish-catching boat just sailed and fish bidding after that.
We ate the legendary cuisine: H. Sony meatballs, and it was the tastiest, meatiest meatballs I have ever had in my life 🤤🤤
We went back to Metro and got ready for the next destination the next day: Palembang. To conclude our trip, we bought Limo Pizza for Fia's family to be enjoyed together. Anyway, Metro was filled by transmigrants from Java, so people surrounding the house were speaking Javanese 😂
The next day, early in the morning, Fia's cousin took us to Tanjung Karang Station. We took Rajabasa train to Palembang. Woohoo, first time taking train in Sumatra! 😆 It was an 8-hour train ride, and honestly it was more boring than train rides in Java as the scenery was mostly palm oil plantation, and we barely got any signal reception. The train arrived in Palembang in late evening.
We proceeded to the motorcycle rental place. It was located in Palembang's Chinatown. We finally rode a proper motorcycle 😂 an old but well-treated Vega R. After checked in the hotel, we looked for dinner. We decided to have Martabak HAR. It was good. In front of the martabak restaurant, there was a mall and we went there just to look how malls in Palembang are. I bought Chatime as I was craving for 'city drinks' wkwkwk.
The day after, we explored the city. We started with having a breakfast with burgo and lopis at Warung Enak. The burgo was good, lopis was too as the sugar syrup was very thick. It also sells pempek and I tried the cuko, OMG, I was mindblown, like, it satisfied all my desire for authentic, thick Palembang cuko 😭😭😭😭
We then went to Bayt Al-Quran Al-Akbar, where wooden carved Al-Quran is located. After that, we visited Taman Wisata Kerajaan Sriwijaya. The day was very hot, so being inside the air-conditioned museum felt so good lol.
For lunch, we rode to Pasar 16 Ilir to eat Pempek Lala. In Palembang, good pempek are cheap and they are almost everywhere. For instance, a proper pempek kapal selam in Jakarta costs IDR30,000 while in Palembang, with even better taste, it only costs IDR11,000 😭😭 I wanna live in Palembang and eat the pempek to my heart content. 😭 As the day was very hot, we proceeded to have a red bean shaved ice. Actually, I do not really like read beans, but after trying a bit from Fia's, I decided to have one hahahah as it was very refreshing. Not bad, but still I could not finish all the beans, so Fia ate the rest.
At night, we returned the motorcycle and took LRT. It looked alike the LRT in Jakarta, only their stations are bigger. We had the authentic Martabak HAR for dinner, and the difference was the martabak, it had a whole hard-boiled duck egg inside. Then we strolled along the Ampera Bridge and acted as tourists hahaha. We took photos and videos with Ampera sign lol. We walked down until the great mosque and prayed Isya there. We visited a nearby Indomaret and I found a gem: Sumatra-exclusive Indomie 😆 I bought some for myself hahaha. We went back to the hotel and packed.
The next day was our last day in Sumatra 😭 we walked around to look for tekwan and model for breakfast. I also ordered pempek pistel (papaya filling) from Warung Enak online and it was my farewell meal 🥲 we then ordered an online taxi to the bus pool. We took EPA Star bus with 1-1-1 configuration, providing us privacy and more room for oneself.
It took around 12 hour to Jakarta hahaha. When we were boarding the ferry, we had jiggling Indomie for our late dinner haha. Finally we arrived in Jakarta around 2.30 pm and I stayed the night at Fia's home.
So that's it our Sumatra trip hahaha should've made this a separate entry. 😅
After the trip, I took the MCU result and it showed that... everything was normal but the cholesterol. 😱 A bit surprising given that I exercise quite routine. But yeah, maybe it's a sign to watch more on what I eat.
Still in annual leave situation, I cycled to Hambalang again and surprisingly met my neighbor's father in law. 😅 From Hambalang, I had Marugame Udon for lunch.
The very next day, I hopped on a train during rush hour to head for Gambir as the meeting point of Deloitte Tax & Legal Outing. Like, FINALLY WE HAD AN OFFLINE OUTING 😭 after two years of meh-offline outings. The destination was downgrade, unfortunately. But again, it's free, so I can't complain. 🤷♀️ It was only days after the Sumatra Trip, and I felt this was upgrade lol as I did not have to be awake to drive or read the maps haha. I could pelor (nempel molor) all the way. We stayed at Mason Pine Hotel, Bandung Padalarang.
T&L translators who attended the outing was only Alfred, Edo BT translator, and I. We had our own meeting and the next day, Alfred who stayed in the same room with Edo, told me that Edo tested positive COVID-19. Damn. And he also felt unwell and went home earlier. It was when I was in Maryam's in-law home. Yeaaaa finally I got to meet her after years not seeing each other. We talked a lot and I planned to extend my stay in Bandung and we already checked some hotels near Bandung Station. However, the next morning I felt super dizzy, and a bit nauseous. I had breakfast as usual, but not long, I vomitted. Fugggg am I positive (COVID YEA NOT THE OTHER POSITIVE) too? Huhu so saddd. I informed Maryam and had to cancel our plan to explore Bandung that day. I went home and took a PCR test the next day.
It was negative. 🤡🤡
Maybe I was just too tired after all the activities during the holiday. Or maybe suggestion. LOL.
25 August was the day when I paid zakat mal for the first time. 😭😭 Finally I can pay zakat mal after 5 years working.
End of August, to be exact August 28, I was in Tuku after cycling, when I read Parete's WA that she just gave birth to a baby boy. 😭😭😭😭 I really held my tears, to not ugly cry. Parete, someone I grow up and old with, officially entered into a new stage of life. 🥲🥲 What a bold decision, and I know she will be a very good good mother for Gyan.
September
Dyah and I planned to visit Sela and Parete and they just gave birth with near dates. If I'm not mistaken, Sela gave birth to Ilyas on August 24, just four days earlier than Parete. So yea, we became Kader Posyandu, visiting newborn babies lol. I was plain amazed hearing their birthing stories, like, how can you guys handle it? 😭😭 Only the brave can do, and you guys are!
September is the first step of my dental reparation (?) journey. It was started with the extraction of my molar teeth in Klinik Kirana. It was painful. 😭 It even took two days to complete. Honestly, I am traumatized with extraction. 🥲
FAMILY MART FINALLY OPENED THREE STORES IN BOGOR!!!! At Bogor Station, Dr. Sumeru, and Sudirman. I visited the Dr. Sumeru and Sudirman stores in a day hahahah so excited!
Jombes finally met up! We only had a meetup once a year when Widha comes home hahaha.
SEPTEMBER 13 MARKS THE DAY WHEN I FINALLY GO TO THE OFFICE TO WORK 😭😭
Finally the full-WFH policy was amended to two-days WFO and three-days WFH arrangement. It was very hard for me at first as I already get comfy with full WFH arrangement. But yea.... Since it only two days in a week, I changed my commuting schedule to be earlier. Way earlier as I catch the kereta balik arriving at 5:50 AM 🥳 so I had to head to the station from home at least 5:35 AM 🥳🥳 as the train routes had changed from the last time I commute daily, I got off at Cikini Station. And at that time, no TJ was heading to Sudirman Street, so I still figured out ways to arrive at the office from the station. I even walked from Cikini to the office, carrying laptops etc etc. 🥲 I also took off at Pasar Minggu Station and took 9D and got off in front of the office. It was convenient, but since the new obligatory tap in tap out policy, the travel time increased.
Anyway, since I depart to the office earlier, I also arrived earlier. And to compensate the hurry I had at home to catch the train, I do not do make-up at home and do it at the office instead. I usually arrive around 7:30 AM 😅 the office was still empty by the time I arrive haha. Sometimes it amazed me if I recall that I arrived around 9 AM back then before the pandemic hahah. Welcome back to office life. 🙂
Talking about office life, it was... the same yet different. I feel like resuming the life I had before, yet many new things - and people - in the life I resumed. No clear beginning and ending points for some people I know. People I saw before the pandemic had resigned. People I interacted with through Skype were hired during the pandemic. A bit overwhelming for me, to be honest. But now I am slowly adjusting to it.
On the first day of WFO, I claimed the freebies for new work arrangement from Deloitte: portable modem, laptop cleaning kit, and Jabra TWS. 😆 Finally I had one hahaha and the TWS really helped me in some aspects in life.
Gayatri fled to Japan to pursue her master's study in Nagasaki. 🥲 Fia and I had a mini farewell with her some weeks prior.
Bebici also had a meet-up, complete with Timun who brought along his wife and daughter. Can't believe we were only teenagers back then at the same place, Margo City, laughing at the price of bag that was worth our scholarship for a month, now we are here. Some have married, some pursue our dreams. We have grown up to be full adults. 🥲
End of September, I decided to splurge my hard-earned money from freelance for... aligning my teeth with RATA. So I visited their clinic in Menteng and entered into the program. My heart cried a bit every time I paid the treatment to make my teeth ready for the treatment. Thankfully, some were covered by insurance from the office.
OCTOBER
Yea still in partially WFO life.
I also discovered that the waxing parlor I go to has an outlet at Blok M Plaza. So I visited it once a month after work and had some snacks to fill in my tummy for the way back home.
Early October, there was a long holiday, so I decided to continue the paused trip to Bandung hahahah. What a fool on the day I departed, I did not turn on any alarms, so did my family, which missed the subuh time. Lol we hurried up and luckily I still caught the train to Bandung. The view from Argo Parahyangan ride was top notch!
In Bandung, we did not discover much and had it slowly. Maryam had a lotssssa of cats and kittens!!! 😆😆😆😆 I was smitten to an orange kitten and wanted to take it home but I can't 🥲 Sierra would be mad lol.

Nature is healing as snacks from colleagues' overseas trips are back to the desk lol.
October 13, I started my teeth-aligning journey with RATA.
Another sign of the healing nature was TJ 4C was back!!! So from the re-launch, I got off the train at Cikini Station, walked to SMPN 8 bus stop, ride TJ 4C to Tosari, then transit to Bundaran HI and hop off. Phew, no more 1-hour long TJ ride from Pasming.

Gita fled to Sydney to take care of administrative matters for her DOCTORAL STUDY. 🥲🥲🥲
Anyway... in October, I had a career breakdown 😢 plus heavy workload plus freelance plus inability to eat freely to munch my stress away due to wearing aligner 😢 I lived without purpose. I lived autopilot. I even did not have the drive to plan the upcoming long holiday for Christmas and New Year. Idk :(
It resulted in my searching for new workplace HAHA. I applied for a job at one of competitors HAHA, but it was unfruitful. Well... my PMS-induced breakdown for October and November were work-related. 🥲
NOVEMBER
To sum up, seperti baris pertama lirik Breakeven:
I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing
Kerja tanpa libur tambahan selain weekend, weekend sepedaan, dll.
Awal bulan beli laptop pribadi buat kerjain freelance dan tes kerja hahaha. Beli MBA M1 second tapi masih garansi. Nemu lapaknya di twitter dan kami COD. Yaay finally punya laptop pribadi yang proper. 🥲 Semoga awet sampe 10 tahun haha!
Sekitar dua minggu kemudian, Famima luncurin rasa baru lagi: KSK. However it didnt meet my expectation karena gak terlalu berasa kopi dan cepet banget meleleh.

Ya Allah selama ini cuma mimpi bisa sing along bagian lagu Sweet, "I will gladly break my heart for you." akhirnya akan terwujud. Yaaayyy see you in February, Greg Gonjales dkk!!!
See you 🥺 |
Mba-mba mamba in yoga outfit hahaha |
DESEMBER
HAAAA FINALLY AKHIR TAHUN!!!!
Mulai rame INTM hahaha.
Yhaa gitu-gitu aja sih.
Pas nonton pertunjukan Pikachu and Eeve Dance, gue videoin sambil mewek wkwk mirip banget perasaaannya kayak pas nonton Night Parade di Disneyland. Sial, inner child gue kesenggol lagi WKWK.
21 Desember hari terakhir kerja..... di kantor WKWK. 23 Desember udah mulai cuti sampe awal tahun.
Rencana besar cuti akhir tahun cuma istirahat aja sih.
Eh gue baru ngeh, sampe Oktober, gue nulis ini pake basa enggres ya HAHAHA yoweslah code-switching at its best lol.
Gue lanjutkan dengan nonton First Love, tapi gak sehari haha, dua hari kalo gak salah. Ya ampun gue suka banget First Love karena mirip 5 Cm per Second tapi versi happy ending hahaha.

Enak sih, comfort food banget walau banyak daunnya. Abis itu KARAOKEAN 😆😆😆😆 Ya Allah udah ngidam banget karaokean dari 2019 hahahaha baru kesampean sekarang. Abis karaokean, kok sendal gue berasa aneh, ternyata bukan lepas atau gimana, KEBELAH wey. Akhirnya gue beli sendal jepit di Farmers Market huhu.
